The Machine: The Future of Computing

How is Hewlett Packard Enterprise reinventing the fundamental architecture of computers? Hewlett Packard Enterprise is building a new way to compute from the ground up. We call it “The Machine.” The Machine will use light, called photonics, for communications rather than copper wires; it will make the “save” button a concept of the past, instead capturing (and remembering) everything in memory as it is created and even after it’s turned off; and will revolutionize how security is embedded throughout a computer.
